Sunriser Defensive Driving School goal is to equip every new driver with the confidence, knowledge, and hands-on experience they need to become safe, responsible, and skilled road users. We are committed to promoting lifelong safe driving habits through comprehensive, high-quality instruction.
In Saskatchewan, new drivers are required to complete the 6 and 6 driver training program as part of the licensing process. This program includes 6 hours of in-class instruction and 6 hours of in-car training with a certified driving instructor. We are committed to developing responsible, attentive, and safety-conscious drivers. Our training program is designed to instill strong driving habits, sharp judgment, and respect for others on the road, ensuring our students are well-prepared for every driving situation.
The 6 and 6 program is mandatory for individuals who have not previously held a driver’s licence or did not complete high school driver education in the province. The training helps new drivers learn essential road safety rules, understand traffic laws, and gain hands-on driving experience in various situations.
Completing this program is a requirement before taking the Class 5 road test, ensuring that new drivers have both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to drive safely.
